His achievements in that period include ruination of most of Germany’s 600,000 Jews; exiling60,01)0 Germans, Jews and non-Jews; saddling world Jewry with the task of caring for the refugees; the unwilling sojourn of 50,000 Germans of every shade of political and religious opinion in the dreaded concentration camps of the Nazi regime; and promotion of Herman Goering from captain to general and the acquisition by the general of a large stock of uniforms which he changes frequently.
Hitler became a leading best seller with his “Afein KampP; Gocring attempted to emulate hitn with “Germany Reborn”.
Destruction of the great trade union movement; destruction of the Social Democratic party; destruction of the Communist party; destruction of freedom oi speech and press; turning Russia from friend lo enemy and the attempt to destroy the freedom of Austria???these are hut a few of the “achievements” of 12 months of “Hitlerite Messirgs” in Germany.
