Beginning October 25th, “Opinion,” formerly a weekly publication, will make its appearance as a national monthly magazine under the editorial direction of James Waterman Wise.
The editorial board of the new monthly magazine has been augmented and will consist of Erwin Edman, John Haynes Holmes, Mordecai M. Kaplan, George Alexander Kohut, Ludwig Lewisohn, Maurice Samuel, Johan J. Smertenko, and Stephen S. Wise.
Funeral services were held for Rabbi David Frankel, who died at the age of sixty-seven.
Rabbi Frankel had served as spiritual leader of the Dukler Mogen Abraham synagogue for twenty years.
