Opposition to the resolution introduced in the Massachusetts Senate condemning as discriminatory the Johnson Immigration Bill, is developing here. Consideration of the resolution is expected on Friday and its adoption without difficulty is anticipated. Frank G. Allen, President of the Senate, and Elihu D. Stone, member of the Executive Committee of the American Jewish Congress, at whose solicitation Mr. Allen presented the resolution, have been the recipients of scores of anti-Semitic letters, the majority of which are anonymous, uring that the Jews be kept out of the country. Massachusetts Jews are planning extensive propaganda against the Johnson Bill. A committee, named Sunday at a state-wide conference, is arranging mass meetings which will take place simultaneously in 18 cities on February 10. A committee is proceeding to Washington to explain the Jewish objects to the Johnson Immigration Bill to the Massachusetts Congressmen.
