The statistics on Polish imports of oranges from the period starting December 28, 1934, and ending March 13, disclose that a total of 38,376 boxes was taken from Palestine.
In the same period Poland bought 353,000 boxes from Spain and 30,457 boxes from Italy. However, no further shipments are expected from Spain this season, while oranges from Palestine are continuing to stream in.
