The possibility that the world famous composer, Arnold Schoenberg may return to Judaism is foreshadowed by his completion of a new oratorio entitled “Moses and Aaron,” in which he presents the ideas and the divinity of various religions culminating in a paean to an unpersonified Jewish god. Schoenberg, a native of Vienna, has been the conductor of the Bunt Theatre in Berlin and professor of music theory at the Sternschen Conservatory in Berlin. For many years he has had no affiliation with Jews nor any connection with Jewish groups.
