Weinreb has maintained that he worked with the Nazis only to facilitate the ##scue of Dutch Jews. The prosecution charges that he profited financially from the ?llaboration. Supporters of Weinreb, including influential figures in the Jewish community, claim that he is being railroaded to cover up the collaboration of prominent officials.
