Organize Upper West Bronx Zionist District

Four upper West Bronx Jewish centers were represented at the gathering at the Jacob H. Schiff Center, Valentine Avenue and Fordham Road, the Bronx, to organize a West Bronx Zionist district. They were, the Nathan Strauss Jewish Center, the Mosholu Parkway Jewish Center, the Jacob Schiff Jewish Center and Kingsbridge Heights Jewish Center.

More than fifty representatives were present. Meyer Goldberg of the New York Zionist Region, has been delegated to direct the organization of the new group. The establishment of educational centers in all parts of the city, to inculcate a feeling of Jewish nationalism, was urged upon the group by Rabbi Alexander Basel.
