Yussuf Effendi, a young student, was brought here from Bagdad on the charge of having organized the anti-Zionist hostile demonstration which took place in Bagdad on the arrival there of Sir Alfred Mond.
The trial of the student was transferred to Basra because the authorities wanted to prevent another demonstration.
