Dr. A. Singalowsky, member of the praesidium of the Central Committee of the Ort, society for the promotion of trades and agriculture among East European Jews, who arrived in New York on the Majestic on Wednesday, will report on conditions in Eastern Europe at a reception on Sunday.
The Executive Committee of the American Ort has arranged a reception in his honor which will be held at the Hotel Aston, New York on Sunday, February 11th at 3 o’clock.
Ed. C. Ostermann is chairman of the biennial drive of the Federated Jewish Charities of Milwaukee. Wis., for $105.000, to aid in the support of seven local Jewish organizations and 13 national. More than one-half of the amount sought has already been subscribed.
