Although the number of displaced Jews in Italy is decreasing steadily, the number of vocational training courses offered by the ORT for the remainder of 1949 and the first eight months of 1950 will be as numerous as those offered in the past few years, it was announced here today.
Some 29 courses in 21 different trades will be taught in four DP camps: Jesi, Fermo, Bari and Barletta. The courses will begin this month and in December, and must be completed by August, 1950.
