Twelve new ORT vocational retraining schools will be established soon in Bucharest, Timisoara; Arad, Bacau and Jassy with an enrollment potential of 3,500 students, it was announced here today by Dr. Aron Syngalowski, chairman of the ORT world executive.
The schools will offer courses in the metallurgic,, textile, glass and oil drilling trades, he said, Dr. Syngalowski conferred on the problems facing the ORT in Rumania with Gheorghe Vasilichi, Education Minister, and Lothar Radaceanu, Labor Minister. He also recently addressed a country-wide conference of ORT teachers.
