An institute for the training of instructors to aid the Jewish people of Europe in rebuilding their shattered lives and communities will be opened near Geneva by the World ORT Union, it was announced here today by the International Pedagogical Congress for the Rehabilitation of Child War Victims.
Swiss authorities and prominent scientists have expressed their approval of the institute, the plans for which were drawn up by Dr. Aron Syngalovsky, a member of the Ort’s executive committee. The best students in the hundreds of centers run by the ORT in 19 countries will be brought to the institute for training. Swiss specialists and members of the faculty of the University of Geneva will be its staff. The American Jewish Labor Committee has already contributed part of the funds required for the new school.
