The first trade school to retrain Jews here will be set up in this city soon under the suspices of the World ORT Union and the Iranian ORT organization.
Machinery and tools weighing approximately ten tons will be shipped by the ORT from Geneva to establish workshops in carpentry and other occupations. An ORT carpentry training school for Kurdish Jews was established earlier in a camp located near here. The Kurdish Jews, as part of their training, are building new barracks for their camp.
