The American Committee for Safeguarding Human Dignity in Israel announced that it is postponing its march to the United Nations scheduled for today protesting forced autopsies in Israel. Hertz Frankel, spokesman for the Committee stated: “Having received assurances from reliable sources both here and Israel that effective measures are being taken to remedy the situation, the Committee is postponing mass demonstration pending the outcome of those efforts.”
