To celebrate the tenth anniversary of ICOR, association for Jewish colonization in Soviet Russia, more than 1,000 delegates from 500 Jewish mass organizations are expected to attend a convention tonight at the New Star Casino, 115 East 107th street.
Delegates from Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland and Los Angeles will be present.
Plans will be discussed at the convention to intensify the organization’s activities in Biro-Bidjan, where 15,000 Jews are settled. During this year ICOR hopes to help settle 12,000 more.
