Over 1700 youngsters, mainly youth movement members from around the country, have been helping Jewish National Fund foresters during the past week in special courses organized by the JNF to acquaint the youth with the woodsman’s work. Working at Yatir on the southern slopes of the Hebron hills, and in Jerusalem, on the Carmel, and in the Turan and Menashe forests, the youngsters also attend lectures on ecology.
