The first volume of the letters of Dr. Chaim Weizmann, the first President of Israel, will be published in English by the Oxford University Press here and in a Hebrew edition by the Mossad Bialik, in Israel, Meyer Weisgal, president of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovoth, told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today, the first volume is scheduled to appear next autumn. There will be 20 volumes in all containing 20,000 letters with annotations and footnotes, Mr. Weisgal said. Mr. Weisgal took sick here on his way from Israel to Brazil on business for the Weizmann Institute. His condition is improved but he has called off his trip on the advise of his doctor.
