Dr. Norman Paris, a rabbi and principal of the Talmudical College-Yeshiva of Rabbi Zaharia Yoseph, of St. Louis, was appointed today director of Ozar Hatorah in Iran. The announcement was made by Isaac Shalom, president of Ozar Hatorah here. The organization provides Jewish youth education in the Middle East and North Africa. Dr. Paris succeeds to the post left vacant two months ago by the death of Rabbi Isaac Lewi. Ozar Hatorah conducts schools throughout Iran, providing Hebrew education in that country for more than 12,000 children.
