The Agudath Israel Conference at Petach Tikvah decided to establish a Torah fund, hachshara (training) centers, kibbutzim (collective colonies) for workers and farmers and an educational center and to start publication of daily, weekly and monthly papers.

A special resolution emphasized the Agudah’s readiness for internal peace on a basis which would not affect the “Torah principles.” The delegates then attended a ceremony opening a street in Petach Tikvah named for the late Rabbi Chaim Oser Grodziensky of Wilno.
