Vice-President Hubert H. Humphrey was criticized by the so-called “Palestine Arab Delegation,” of New York, for pro-Israel statements at his address before the American Jewish Press Association on June 2.
In a letter of denunciation addressed to Mr. Humphrey, Issa Nakhieh and Omar Azouni who described themselves as “permanent representatives of the Palestine Arab Delegation,” said they were “deeply shocked” by Mr. Humphrey’s comments on Chinese Communist collaboration with the “Palestine Liberation Organization.”
