Britain’s Royal Commission, preparing to begin a week’s tour of Palestine’s trouble centers in recent disorders, received a letter from the Arab Supreme Committee today explaining the Arab boycott of the inquiry on the ground the Government was “Judaizing the country.”
Expressing regret at the Arabs’ inability to cooperate with the commission sent here to investigate the six-month reign of terror, the letter said:
“The Government is Judaizing the country. The continuation of Jewish immigration indicated no change in the British policy. Therefore, there is no advantage in cooperating.”
Nails strewn in the road in front of High Commissioner Wauchope’s residence punctured the tires of cars carrying guests to a reception in honor of Lord Peel, chairman of the Commission.
