Efforts with a view to consolidation of the various agencies active in the placement of Palestine products in the United States into one central agency were decided upon at the annual meeting of the Palestine Chamber of Commerce in New York held recently.

After a discussion of the report of the past year’s activity, the Executive Committee was instructed to take steps in this direction and a special committee, headed by David Podolsky as chairman, was elected for this purpose.

The following were elected to serve as officers for a period of one year: Judge Jacob S. Strahi, Honorary President, Samuel Mason, President, David Podolsky, First Vice-President, Joseph Pines, Second Vice-President, Max Fanwick, Treasurer. Ezekiel Rabinowitz, Secretary, Marcus D. Mason. Asst. Secretary. The directors elected were: Herman Bernstein. Louis Germain, Jacob Ish-Kishor, Leopold Kehlmann. David Surdut, and Sol Friedland.
