Noted Soil Expert Leaves Jerusalem After Extensive Survey (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
Sir John Campbell, leading British soil expert and member of the Jewish Agency Commission, left Jerusalem today, following an extensive study on behalf of the Commission.
Jewish Colonization in Palestine will he a success if the necessary funds and machinery will be secured, he declared in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. “I found in the country human material which is of extremely high character. I found a good spirit among the colonists, both old and young, notwithstanding the prevailing crests. Health conditions are ?satisfactory, especially reflected in the high birth rate.”
Sir John will present his full report to the London Zionist Executive at the end of December.
