The Palestine Communist Party announced today that it will not appear before the Anglo-American inquiry committee, because it feels that the committee “is devoid of any legal status.”
The announcement points out that the inquiry body was appointed by an “illegal holder” of the Mandate, since the League of Nations no longer exists and the UNO has not taken over trusteeship of the country. It also cites the fact that the Soviet Union had not been invited to participate.
