The Palestine Government announced today that a separate Palestine Broadcasting System, divcreed from the Post Office Department with which it is now connected, will begin funotioning on June 1.
Edwin Samuel, son of Viscount Samuel, first High Commissioner for Palestine, will be director of the network. The administrative staff will include a controller for Arab programs, one for Jewish programs and an assistant controller for English programs.
