(Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The twenty-two and a half million dollar loan for the Palestine government, guaranteed by the British Exchequer, will not be delayed, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency learns from reliable sources.
The denial came following the publication of a report by the Palestine Hebrew daily, “Ha’aretz” to the effect that the delay may be caused due to the demand of the British government that the Palestine government guarantee the payment of the interest by inserting this as an item in the regular budget of the Palestine administration. It was stated that there is no foundation for this report.
