Palestine High Commissioner Sir Alen #### met today with high members of the Cabinet for disscussion of the Palestine situation, but official circles would not disclose the subject of their talke. Meanwhile, Maj. Gen. Gordon H.A. MacMillan, British military commander in Palestine, conferred with Colonial Secretary Arthur Greech Jonas.
A spokesman of the Foreign Office, who was asked today to comment on the report that United Nations Secretary-General Trygve Lie has approved the holding of a special “skeleton” session of the General Assembly to discuss Palestine, said that Britain’s views on the subject are still being formulated in discussions with American quarters. He added that the talks are still in progress and no decision has been reached.
