The Palestine High Commissioner, General Sir Arthur Wauchop, visited today a number of Jewish settlements in the Valley of Jesreel, and everywhere expressed admiration of the Jewish work.
At Afuleh the High Commissioner chatted in the hospital there with Mr. Freud, the Jewish colonist of Kfar Yehezkel, and Mr. Hershkovitch, an official of the Zionist Agricultural Experimental Station, who were wounded at Kfar Yehezkel last Saturday night by shots fired by an unknown assailant into Mr. Freud’s house, and who were taken to the hospital at Afuleh.
