His impressions of Palestine and its future as the Jewish National Home were expressed by President Masaryk in an interview with the Jerusalem representative of the “Pragner Tageblatt”.
The correspondent quotes President Masaryk as saying that the Jewish enterprise in Palestine is an extremely interesting and magnificent one.
“This enterprise holds great promise. Nevertheless, whether or not the Jews will ever attain a majority in the country is problematical,” the president said.
