Thirty-five hundred German Jews have joined the ranks of Palestine pioneers training for settlement there, the Juedische Rundschau, chief German Zionist publication, reports. Over 16,000 inquiries have been made at the Berlin Palestine office regarding immigration and possibilities of settlement there.
A noticeable growth in the membership of the German Zionist Federation as well as in the attendance, and new classes in Hebrew for prospective Palestine settlers, is also reported.
