The Palestine question may be raised in the House of Commons tomorrow by Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin, it was reported today. However, no definite decision has yet been reached by the Cabinet.
Today’s report said that should Bevin raise the Palestine issue, former Prime Minister Winston Churchill will voice criticism of the Middle Eastern policy of the Labor Government. Jewish members of Commons are also preparing to launch a strong attack on Bevin’s Palestine policy, if an opportunity comes up tomorrow.
