The deadlock in the Jewish Agency school system in Palestine continues, the Committee of the Hebrew Teachers Organisation deciding not to accept the new proposal for settling the dispute put forward by the Tel Aviv Municipality with the consent of the Jewish Agency Executive.

Since the Executive of the Jewish Agency merely repeats its previous proposal without making any concessions, we are unable to accept the proposal, and therefore the stoppage in the schools continues, and it is the fault of the Executive that the teachers are not returning to the schools, says the statement on the question issued by the Teachers’ Central Committee.
