Palestine Jews Give $2,000,000 to Aid Jewish Soldiers in British Army

Palestine Jews have contributed more than $2,000,000 to the War Needs Fund, which is used to provide incidental comforts and recreation for Jewish soldiers serving in the British Army, it was announced here today.

At the same time, William Fitzgerald, Palestine’s attorney-general and chairman of the government’s Central Committee for Social Welfare, voiced high praise for Jewish social welfare activities in Palestine, at a press luncheon here.
