The motor-strike, started on Monday at midnight, continues to be general throughout the country. Arab-Jewish co-operation in the strike is complete. No incidents are reported anywhere in connection with the stoppage.
The Jewish Community of Haifa, and the Jewish Chambers of Commerce in Tel Aviv and Jaffa have taken the initiative to-day in approaching the Government to urge it to put a stop to the strike by accepting the recommendations made to it by its own Enquiry Board for the regulation of the motor-traffic industry.
