There are 206 Jews and 155 Arabs who are licensed to practice before the civil court of Palestine, according to a statement made to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency by the acting superintendent of the courts.
Of these, 167 Jews and 152 Arabs paid their annual fees for the year 1933. The percentage of Jewish and Arab advocates was therefore fiftytwo percent and forty-eight percent respectively.
