Rewards totaling nearly $500,000 for 21 murderers were listed today by the Government. None of the sums has ever been collected. The rewards cover many unsolved cases. One of the men wanted is Issa Battat, understood to be implicated in the assassinations of District Commissioner Lewis Y. Andrews and James L. Starkey, British archaeologist.
Meanwhile, the death toll in current disorders rose when a khaki-uniformed band invaded the village of Attara, in the vicinity of Nablus, breaking into a house and firing at the male occupants. Two were killed and three were seriously wounded.
