The Palestine Symphony Orchestra, was warmly received here last night in the first performance of its annual Egyptian tour. A large audience consisting mostly of British officers and men heard Nine Salzman, young pianist, in a sparkling concerto ably abetted by the orchestra which gave its first performance under the veteran conductor, Michael Taube. The orchestra is composed mostly of Jewish refugees from central Europe who were once members of the famed orchestras there.
