Protest meetings against the Palestine events were held in factories in various Russian cities yesterday. In the Kiev factory arsenal, 300 workers participated in the protest meeting and decided to donate half a day’s salary. The fund is not, however, being raised for the Palestine victims, but is to go toward the fund being raised to build a Soviet aeroplane named “Bidjan.”
At the scores of protest meetings held in Charkov, Odessa and other cities, resolutions were adopted against “British imperialism and the Zionist Agency. The Second International is supporting Zionist ambitions,” they declared.
