Prince Feisal of Saudi-Arabia today declared at a press conference in Alexanderia that during his recent visit in London he was told that responsible authorities in Britain believe that the Palestine question will be settled very soon.
“This question should have been settled long ago,” the Arab prince said. He expressed the hope that “an agreement will shortly be reached.” Prince Feisal is en route to Saudi-Arabia after attending the San Francisco Conference and spending some time in England, in his capacity as Saudi-Arabian foreign minister.
A delegation of Palestine Arab citrus growers left for London yesterday and were followed by a Jewish delegation today. They will hold joint discussions with the British Government on measures to revive the citrus industry in Palestine as well as the granting of government loans to Arab and Jewish growers. The delegation expects to remain in London for about six weeks during which time it will seek to market 5,000,000 cases of fruit.
