Improved relations between Poles and Jews in Palestine are reported here today from Jerusalem. The Gazeta Polska, first Polish daily newspaper in the Near East, which started its publication recently in Jerusalem, is now changing its tone from anti-Jewish to pro-Jewish, while the Polish soldiers and officers living in camps of the Allied armies maintain the friendliest relations with both Jews and Arabs.
More than 1,500 Poles who recently reached Palestine from the Balkan countries have, with few exceptions, settled in Tel Aviv and in Jerusalem. In Tel Aviv they established a high school for 150 students, the report says.
