The Arab director of the Governmental Teachers College has turned down the only Jewish applicant for entrance into the school. The reason officially given by the Director is that there is no vacancy in the school.
While there are a number of Jewish teachers’ colleges the fact that the governmental school, under Arab direction has turned down the single Jewish applicant, has evoked great indignation in Jewish circles.
