The assassination of Dr. Israel DeHaan, the leader of the orthodox Agudath Israel, is causing much excitement, and is being condemned by all parties and factions of the population.
The funeral of the slain leader took place today. Representatives of the Palestinian Government, the Zionist Executive and the Palestinian Arab Executive participated. Mr. Jacobus Kann, the Zionist leader, and Dutch Consul in Jerusalem, delivered the funeral oration as the diplomatic representative of the country of DeHaan’s bith.
