Preparations to send a Jewish unit from Palestine through Iran to Soviet Russia are being made here, according to information revealed here today by members of the Jewish Agency.
Messages of greetings between the Histadruth, Palestine Labor Federation, and the new Laborite Prime Minister of Australia were made public here today. “The friendship between your soldiers and ours, and the understanding between your people and the Yishub will last forever,” said the message of the Histadruth, which was answered by a similar message from the new Australian Prime Minister John Curtin.
