A Palestine trade delegation, composed of seven members, arrived here today from Jerusalem to begin consultations with the Colonial Office and the Board of Trade with regard to post-war trade relations between Britain and Palestine.
The London Times, in an editorial, demands that Britain take the lead in proposing the necessary measure for solution of the Palestine problem, as well as all other Middle Eastern problems. It emphasizes that “an international approach” is necessary for the future of Palestine. In discussing contributions to the war effort made by the Arab countries, the editorial emphasizes that “only a handful of dissidents here and there succumbed to the temptation of joining what must have seemed to them the winning side.”
