A contest among Protestant, Catholic and Jewish clergymen in the United States for the best article on “The Inspiration of a Trip to the Holy Land” was announced by the Church Touring Guild of which the Rev. S. Parkes Cadman is President.
Sir Henry Lunn, founder of the Church Touring Guild, has offered two prizes: One Hundred Dollars in cash for the best article, and Fifty Dollars in cash for the second best article.
The judges of the contest will be: The Rev. Ralph W. Sockman, Pastor of the Madison Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church of New York; the Rev. Nehemiah Boynton, Chairman of International Committee of the World Alliance for International Friendship Through the Churches; and Mr. Edward Lunn, a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and Sir Henry Lunn.
Articles submitted in competition must not be more than 2,000 words long. The contest will close June 1st, 1926.
Articles offered in competition should be sent to the Church Touring Guild, 70 Fifth Avenue, New York City. They should be signed with the name and address of the author and marked “For prize article contest.”
