Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat accepted the resignation of his Cabinet. The Cabinet will continue to operate in an interim capacity until a new self-rule government is formed. The Palestinian legislative council had threatened a vote of no-confidence in Arafat because of corruption unless the Cabinet resigned.
