Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat pledged that the intifada will continue, according to the Jerusalem Post. The paper reported that during an interview with Palestinian journalists, Arafat said he does not accept Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s demand that Palestinian violence cease before the two sides resume negotiations.
