Palestinian security officials were conducting widespread searches in the Hebron area for the car of Shas spiritual mentor Rabbi Ovadia Yosef. A senior Palestinian security official said security forces had received orders from “the highest possible authority” to try and locate the car, which was stolen in Jerusalem.
