Palestinian sources confirm that an April 2002 battle in the Jenin refugee camp was no massacre, according to an upcoming study. In the study, conducted by the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs and provided to the Jerusalem Post, the sources said Fatah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad prepared for a pitched military battle in the densely-packed refugee camp.
