Palestinian sources said its security forces had uncovered an Islamic Jihad terrorist cell that had been operating near the West Bank town of Bethlehem. The sources were quoted by Israel Radio as saying that the cell had intended to carry out terrorist attacks in Israel, and that a number of weapons had been confiscated during the raid.
